I was bemoaning to Jayne in email that I wish I was more adventurous because maybe I would have read this book sooner, particularly when it was given special treatment at Smart Bitches Trashy Books. While I like Young Adult books, the idea of reading alternating first person present tense narratives with heavy music overtones never held alot of appeal to me.
